Bunbury Port
The Bunbury port is located in Vittoria, with some of its land also in the nearby suburb of Pelican Point.
The Bunbury Harbour Board was set up on 1 July 1909 to manage the port. In October 1967, it became the Bunbury Port Authority.[1] Later, on 1 October 2014, it merged with the Albany and Esperance port authorities to form the Southern Ports Authority.[2]
The port handles goods from the South West region and connects to rail and road networks. Major exports include alumina, mineral sands, woodchips, caustic soda, and silica sand.
