Davenport, Western Australia
Davenport is a suburb located in the City of Bunbury, Western Australia, just south of the Bunbury central business district. It is primarily an industrial and commercial area, with some residential properties as well.
The suburb is home to key infrastructure, including the Bunbury Outer Ring Road, which connects it to other parts of the region. Davenport also borders the Bunbury Port, a major port for the South West region, playing an important role in transport and logistics. It is mostly commercial in the north-west with Bunbury Airport located within the suburb, while the remainder is rural.[1][2]
Davenport is located on the traditional land of the Wardandi people of the Noongar nation.[3][4][5]
While mostly developed for industrial use, Davenport provides some residential areas and is well-connected to nearby suburbs like Carey Park and South Bunbury. It also offers easy access to the city’s shopping, dining, and recreational areas.
