The team is under the responsibility of FA Thailand. In 2024 the association confirmed that it directly oversees the U23 squad and is responsible for hiring the coaching staff.[2]
Recent & Official Activity
Role in Thai football
The U23 team acts as a development squad for young players prior to graduating to the senior national team; FA Thailand uses it to foster youth talents and manage participation in age-restricted competitions.
