Tatiana Celia Kennedy Schlossberg (May 5, 1990 – December 30, 2025) was an American environmental journalist and author. She was a science and climate reporter for The New York Times. She also wrote for The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Vanity Fair, and Bloomberg.
She was a daughter of designer Edwin Schlossberg and diplomat Caroline Kennedy, and a granddaughter of John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.[1]
In 2024, after the birth of her daughter, Schlossberg was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. In November 2025, she said her diagnosis was terminal and that doctors have told her that she had one year to live.[2][3] Schlossberg died on December 30, 2025 from the disease at her parent's home in New York City, at the age of 35.[4][5]
