Pseudopaludicola restinga is a frog. It lives in Brazil in Minas Gerais.[2][3][1]
Body
The adult male frog is about 11.7-14.6 mm long from nose to rear end and the adult female frog 14.0-16.7 mm.[4]
Home
This frog lives in dead leaves on the ground in restinga placess. People see it in places with small, woody plants, near sand hills, and marshes near water without salt in it. Scientists have seen it between 0 and 10 m (0 and 33 ft) above sea level.[1]
Scientists have seen this frog in protected places, Parque Estadual Da Fonte Grande, Parque Estadual Paulo César Vinha, and Parque Nacional Restinga De Jurubatiba.[1]
Young
The male frog calls to the female frogs at sundown. The female frog lays her eggs in water that does not move. The tadpoles swim in the water.[1]
Danger
Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in some danger of dying out. Human beings have changed the places where the frogs live to build things near the ocean: farms, places for animals to eat grass, towns, places for visitors, places for fighters, places to build ships, and places to work on oil and natural gas fuels.[1]
