The long-legged swamp froglet (Pseudopaludicola murundu) is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog lives in Cerrado and Atlantic forest places. Scientists have seen it 600 m (2,000 ft) above sea level. The male frogs call from smallhills near shallow bodies of water where the water moves slowly. These hills are called murundus.[1]

Scientists have seen these frogs in some protected places, for example Área de Proteção Ambiental Morro da Pedreira, Área de Proteção Ambiental Piracicaba Juqueri Mirím Área I, Área de Proteção Ambiental Sul RMBH, Área de Proteção Especial Ouro Preto/Mariana, and RPPN Luiz Carlos Jurovsk Tamassia.[1]

Young

The tadpoles swim at night.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. In some places, the frogs are in some danger when human beings change the places where it lives to make farms, make towns, and make places for cows to eat grass. Also, the farms can make some of the ground wash away into streams.[1]
