Pseudopaludicola matuta is a frog. It lives in Brazil in Minas Gerais.[2][3][1]
Home
This frog lives in grassy places and places with small, woody plants in Cerrado places. People see the frog in marshes, pools, places where water comes out of the ground, and marshes in forests next to rivers. It is good at living in places that people have changed; people see it places where animals eat grass and in cows' footprints. Scientists have seen it between 500 and 800 m (1,600 and 2,600 ft) above sea level.[1]
Scientists have seen this frog in a protected place, Serra do Cipó National Park.[1]
Young
The female frog lays her eggs in water that does not move. The tadpoles swim in the water.[1]
Danger
Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is not in danger of dying out. Human beings have changed the places where the frogs live to make farms. People also made the city of Belo Horizonte larger so that it is on part of the frog's home.[1]
