Pseudopaludicola jazmynmcdonaldae is a frog. It lives in Brazil in Tocantins.[2][3][1]

Body

This frog is small in size. Its back legs are shorter than other frogs' back legs. The male frog's voice skin is dark in color with no warts.[4]

Home

This frog lives in dry grassy places in Cerrado placess. It lives by the plants around small marshes and pools that stay wet all year. Scientists think they could also live in places where animals eat grass. Scientists have seen it between 174 and 177 m (571 and 581 ft) above sea level.[1]

There is a protected place near where the frog lives, Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural (RPPN) Canto do Obrieni, and scientists think it might live there too.[1]

Young

The female frog lays eggs in the water. The tadpoles swim in the water.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in big danger of dying out. The place where scientists found the frog has soybean farms with only one plant and places where cows eat grass all around it. People have changed places like the frog's home to make farms. Chemicals on these farms can also hurt the frog.[1]
