Pseudopaludicola ibisoroca is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog only lives wetlands with small, woody plants and clear water in Cerrado places.[1]

Scientists saw the frog in a protected place: Parque Nacional das Emas.[1]

Young

This frog has many young at the same time. The female frog lays eggs in water. The tadpoles swim in the water. Unlike other frogs in Pseudopaludicola, this frog cannot have young in many different kinds of water. It needs marshland with clear water.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in some danger of dying out. Human beings have changed the places where the frog lives by changing Cerrado to farms, for example big farms with only soybeans and places for animals to eat grass. The animals drink the water in the wetlands and make the dirt wash away, which makes cracks in the land. The farms use chemicals to kill pests and chemicals to make crops grow. People also burn places with fire to make them easier to make into farms and grassy places.[1]
