Pedro Domingo Etchegoyen Aramburu (21 May 1894 – 1969[1]) was a Uruguayan footballer. He played as a forward for Liverpool in Montevideo, where he got the nickname "Mingo".[2]

Early life and career

Etchegoyen grew up in the Nuevo París neighbourhood of Montevideo, where he learned to play football at school.[2]

He was capped one time for Uruguay, in a 3–1 loss against Argentina on 22 January 1922.[3] He was also part of Uruguay's teams at both the 1923 South American Championship and the 1924 Summer Olympics, but played no matches in either.[2] Him being part of Uruguay's 1924 Summer Olympics team was controversial, as some people thought we was not good enough to play for Uruguay.[2]
