"Peace" is a song by jazz pianist Horace Silver. It was first recorded on August 29, 1959. It has become a jazz standard.[1][2] Silver also wrote the lyrics for the song.[3]

Composition

"Peace" is a slow ballad. This is not common for Horace Silver songs, which are usually faster.[3] It has a ten-bar structure.[2]
