Mount Sones

Mount Sones is a mountain in Antarctica. It is on the north side of Beaver Glacier, about 3.7 kilometers west of Mount Reed. It is part of the Tula Mountains in Enderby Land.

The mountain was mapped in 1956 using air photos taken by Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions.[1] The name honors F. Sones, who was a crew member on the ship Discovery during the British Australian New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition, which took place from 1929 to 1931.[1]
