Martin Hoffmann (born 22 March 1955) is a former German footballer and manager. As a player, he spent his whole career at 1. FC Magdeburg, where he played 256 matches and scored 78 goals,[1] and helped them win the 1973–74 European Cup Winners' Cup. He was capped 65 times for East Germany between 1973 and 1981, scoring 15 goals.[2] He also played for East Germany at the 1974 FIFA World Cup[3] and at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where he won a gold medal[4]

As a manager, he coached 1. FC Magdeburg twice, between 1994 and 1996, and again between 2002 and 2003.
