Ivan Thys (29 April 1897 – 15 February 1982) was a Belgian footballer.[1] He played as a forward for Beerschot between 1919 and 1931, where he scored 132 goals in 203 games.[2] He was also capped 20 times for Belgium between 1921 and 1926.[3][4]

He was the father of Belgian footballer and manager Guy Thys.[5]
