The Women's Ashes
In the sport of cricket, the first women's Test series between Australia Women and England Women was played in Australia in 1934–35.[1] Following the tradition of "The Ashes" in men's cricket, these series came to contest "The Women's Ashes". Until 2013, the concept was limited to Test series. Since then, as women's Tests are played only occasionally, a points system has been in use. This takes account of One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) matches as well as Tests. Four points are awarded for a Test victory, two points each for a Test draw or tie, and two points for a limited overs victory.[2]
