SPC Outlook

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC), in Norman, Oklahoma, is part of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction. The Storm Prediction Center issues outlooks daily to notify citizens of severe weather. The SPC issues outlooks up to eight days before the actual event and uses risk levels to show how intense storms may be. The SPC also came out with conditional intensity levels to show where the most intense storms may be.
