Static typing
In a statically typed programming language, the type of the variable is verified during compilation. When the variable is bound to a data type, it remains unchanged. Static type checking and type safety reduces many kinds of errors caused by mismatching variables of different types and helps to prevent software bugs. Some examples of statically typed programming languages: Pascal, C, and V (Vlang).
