Snapdragon is the brandname of Qualcomm. It has system on chip, cellular modem and wireless network interface controllers (NICs). It is produced since November 2007. It used the chipset for smartphones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, virtual reality headset, Bluetooth audio and embedded system.

History

On 19 August 2025, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with small performance improvement.[1] In September 2025, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon X2 Elite and Extreme for Windows PCs.[2][3] In November 2025, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.[4]
