Physalaemus erythros is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog can only live in campos rupuestres between the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado places. Scientists have seen this frog between 1,600 and 1,676 m (5,249 and 5,499 ft) above sea level.[1]

Scientists have seen the frog in protected places: Área de Proteção Especial Ouro Preto/Mariana and Parque Estadual do Itacolomi. Scientists think it could also live in Parque Nacional da Serra do Gandarela.[1]

Young

This frog lays eggs in nests made out of bubbles. The nests float on the water. The tadpoles swim in the water.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in some danger of dying out. The frog is in some danger from farms and fires. Because the frog only lives in parts of the campos rupuestres, climate change could put it in danger.[1]
