Physalaemus caete is a frog. It lives in Brazil.[2][3][1]

Home

This frog lives on the dead leaves on the ground near ponds in rainforests. Scientists have seen it between 0 and 750 m (0 and 2,461 ft) above sea level. Scientists have seen the frog in protected places: ESEC de Caetes, ESEC de Murici, and APA Aldeia-Beberibe.[1]

Young

These frogs have young in floating nests in small bodies of water that dry up for part of the year and in water-filled holes in trees. The tadpoles swim in the water.[1]

Danger

Scientists from the IUCN say this frog is in some danger of dying out. People change the places where the frogs live to make farms and towns and get wood to use.[1]
