The Palestinian National Security Forces are like the army for the Palestinian Authority. This name can mean all security forces, including some special groups, but not the Interior Security Forces, the President's Guard, or General Intelligence. It can also just mean the main part of the National Security Forces. Since the Oslo Accords were signed, these forces work in areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority. In 2003, these groups joined together to become the Palestinian Security Services.
