Novelty architecture

Kindergarten De Katze in Germany.

Novelty architecture refers to buildings and other structures that take on unconventional, fanciful forms. Usually, this type of architecture involves the structure mimicking the form of certain objects such as baskets, teapots and furniture, animals such as elephants or birds, or people. Novelty structures are usually built as advertising, to put a place on the map and attract tourism.
