Meg Foster (born Margaret Foster; May 10, 1948) is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the 1979 TV miniseries version of The Scarlet Letter, and the movies Ticket to Heaven, The Osterman Weekend and They Live.[2][3] She also played Christine Cagney in the first season of Cagney & Lacey.
Foster is known for her clear light blue eyes.[4][5] Some movie and television producers had Foster wear contact lenses to change her eye color because they thought her natural eyes were distracting.[5]
