The Mazda CX-5 is an SUV made by Mazda who replaced the CX-7 and the Tribute.[1][2] first shown in 2011[3] it was produced in 3 generations in 2012,[4] 2016,[5] and in 2025[6] it is positioned between the larger CX-60, the smaller CX-30, and below the CX-50, CX-60, or the Mazda CX-8 in some regions.
It was the first car to feature the brand's new "Kodo" design language,[7] and also the first to be made with the "Skyactiv" tech.[8]
