Mangla Dam

The Mangla Dam (Pothwari, Urdu: منگلا بند) located in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan is the twelfth largest dam in the world. It is the second largest earth filled dam after Tarbela Dam. The dam was built in 1967 with funding from the World Bank. It is located on the Pothohar Plateau.
