Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel
The Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel is one of the yearly Locus Awards. It is presented by the science fiction magazine Locus. Awards in one year are given for the works made the year before. The award was first presented in 1980. There was an award for Best Novel instead. A similar award for Best Fantasy Novel was introduced in 1978.[1] The Locus Awards are known as an important prize for science fiction, fantasy and horror books.[2][3]
