"Jocelyn Flores" is the second single off of American rapper XXXTentacion's debut studio album 17. The song was released on October 31, 2017. The song was able to make it to #19 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] XXXTentacion made the song in tribute to his friend Jocelyn Amparo Flores, who committed suicide when visiting him in Florida due to an incident.
Flores was fired by Onfroy while taking part in a modeling job for his clothing brand. During the photo shoot, Onfroy confronted Jocelyn and another model about missing money, which eventually led to Jocelyn's removal from set. Later that night, Flores checked into a hotel room and committed suicide.[2]
Most of Jocelyn's family members were content that XXXTentacion would make a song to commemorate her, despite others thinking he was obliged to ask for their approval.[2]
