He was drafted 14th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2021 NHL entry draft.[1] On 31 May 2022, Rosén signed a three-year entry-level contract to join the Sabres.[2] He was sent down to play for their AHL-affiliate Rochester Americans.
On 25 November 2023, the Sabres called him up and Rosén made his NHL debut in a 7–2 loss against the New Jersey Devils.[3] On 27 March 2025, he recorded his first NHL point, assisting on a Mattias Samuelsson goal in a 7–3 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins.[4] On 1 November, Rosén scored his first NHL goal against Charlie Lindgren in a 4–3 shootout win against the Washington Capitals.[5]
On March 6, 2026, the Sabres traded Rosén along with Jacob Bryson, a 2026 conditional fourth-round draft pick, and a 2027 second-round draft pick to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Luke Schenn and Logan Stanley.[6]
