International Communist League (Fourth Internationalist)
The International Communist League (Fourth Internationalist), abbreviated as ICL(FI), is an international Trotskyist organization, having various branches in Europe, Japan, and North America, with the Spartacist League (US) being the largest branch.
The ICL(FI) originated from a group within the Socialist Workers Party that was kicked out of the party due to fundamental disagreements. This new separate group later renamed itself as Spartacist in 1964, after The Spartacist League of Germany in World War I.
