Holly Marie Combs
Holly Marie Combs (born December 3, 1973 in San Diego, California) is an American actress. She is best known for working on the television series Charmed (1998–2006), where she played Piper Halliwell, one of the three Charmed sisters. Combs played Piper for all eight seasons, and the character became the main leader of the family in the later years of the series.[1]
She also played Ella Montgomery, the loving mother of Aria Montgomery, on the Freeform drama Pretty Little Liars (2010–2017).[2]
A devoted environmentalist and conservationist, Combs has produced several wildlife documentaries, including Corky, Why Just One, and Sharkwater.[3]
Personal life
Combs is an avid Scrabble player, and lists Italian food among her favorites. Her hobbies include horseback riding, gardening, and collecting antiques.[4] She has vitiligo in both of her hands.[5][6]
She lives in Friday Harbor, Washington.[7]
