Harp guitar

A harp guitar is a guitar with one or more additional, unfretted strings that are plucked separately of the main fingerboard, like a harp. These "floating" strings, typically a series of sub-bass strings, extend the instrument's range and harmonic possibilities, allowing for complex fingerstyle playing that combines fretted and unfretted notes.
