Drake Maye is a American football quarterback for the New England Patriots. He played college football for the University of North Carolina. The Patriots drafted Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.[1] He made the Pro Bowl in his first two seasons. In his second season (2025), Maye led the Patriots to a division title and an appearance in the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks.[2][3] He is the second youngest quarterback to ever lead his team to the Super Bowl. Only Dan Marino was younger when he led the Miami Dolphins to Super Bowl XIX.[4]
