Music video

At the start of the video, Aaron Carter thinks the girl he likes only likes "muscle men", or athletes, specifically basketball, football players and weightlifters. His older brother, Nick, tells him to "be himself" instead, saying girls like that because he "knows these things", then leaves.

Aaron finds a poster advertising a talent show in the park, where he performs the song for the crowd. He sees his crush watching some boys playing basketball and then flirting with some boys playing football, but he cannot get her to notice him. In the second case, he imagines the football players chasing him down as he carries the football. However, he was not aware the first person he told about his crush started a chain where one person told another until the girl found out. She kisses him on the cheek, but he walks off with another girl who has cotton candy in her hand. This makes the first girl sad.[14]
