The Audi A4 is a compact luxury sedan produced by Audi from 1994 to 2025 in 5 generations. It replaced the Audi 80,[1][2] and is treated as a continuation of the 80's heritage, with all the generations starting with the letter B.
The A4 had mainly sedan and station wagon versions, though the B6 and B7 generations, had convertible and coupe versions as well.[3] It was replaced by the B10 A5 in 2025.[4]
