Ammonium hydrosulfide
Ammonium hydrosulfide, also called ammonium bisulfide or (improperly) ammonium sulfide, is a chemical compound. The formula is (NH4)HS. It can be made by passing hydrogen sulfide gas through ammonia solution.[1]
"Ammonium sulfide"
"Ammonium sulfide" is used as a trade name for a solution of ammonium hydrosulfide and ammonia. This is similar to the name "ammonium hydroxide" for aqueous ammonia. Some references have data on a solid form of ammonium sulfide, so it may have been made as a pure compound, but this is much less significant than the solution.[2]
