Acetamide

Acetamide is a chemical compound made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. It has the formula CH3CONH2. It is the primary amide of acetic acid.
Acetamides are chemicals related to acetamide. Normally these have more carbon attached to the nitrogen atom (as in acetanilide) but non-carbon atoms can also replace hydrogen on the carbon atom (as in chloroacetamide).
Mineral
Acetamide can be found as a mineral that is either colorless or gray in color, and is made of a crystalline crust on black shale. It is named for acetic acid and ammonia. It can be found in Russia and is not radioactive.[1]
